In the political climate we now have in the United States, impeachment would be nothing more than a political red herring. Most agree that impeachment proceedings in the GOP controlled House of Representatives would be a net positive for Barack Obama. Perhaps that’s why White House aide Dan Pfeiffer openly said that Obama “could” be impeached.

WASHINGTON — A top aide to President Obama said it’s possible that Obama could be impeached by the Republican-controlled House of Representatives.

House Speaker John Boehner’s decision to proceed with a lawsuit against the president has “opened the door” to the third presidential impeachment in the nation’s history, Senior Adviser Dan Pfeiffer told reporters at a Friday breakfast sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor.

“Impeachment is a very serious thing that has been bandied about by the recent Republican vice presidential nominee and others in a very un-serious way,” he said, referring to former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. “We take it very seriously and I don’t think it would be a good thing.”

Pfeiffer was quick to add that “no one has alleged anything that is even six universes from what is generally considered” to be an impeachable offense.

Boehner has dismissed calls for Obama to be impeached. His spokesman, Michael Steel, called Pfeiffer’s comments “a fundraising exercise for Democrats.”

I have no doubt that Obama is guilty of impeachable offenses. Most notably, the IRS scandal in which he’s been the beneficiary of a multitude of “coincidental” occurrences. You have to ask yourself, who benefits the most from the IRS targeting conservative groups? Barack Obama. Where did the idea to target Obama’s political enemies by the IRS, effectively crippling them financially before the 2012 election, originate? It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure that one out.

The thing is, and it’s quite a big thing, without sufficient evidence for conviction in the Senate, impeachment proceedings in the House would only be symbolic. A House vote on impeachment would likely pass, but more than likely, even if Republicans win the Senate in November, Obama would be acquitted, thus scoring a public victory.

This is the one and only purpose for Pfeiffer’s comments.

Quick observation. Darth Vader is a badass. Second observation. Boba Fett is way too cool to be tied with Hillary Clinton. Another quick observation, in this poll the top Dem is Hillary Clinton, the top Republican is Mike Huckabee, that should tell you something right there. As inherently evil as Darth Vader was, let’s not forget he did have redeeming qualities that ended up putting him (after death) in the trifecta of Jedi ghosts that Luke Skywalker saw at the end of Jedi.

Vader’s story: started good, went bad, went really bad, came around and saved the day. Overall, good. Unlikely Barack Obama’s story will be written the same way. People often forget Darth Vader’s redeeming qualities. He did save Luke’s life by tossing the emperor like a piece of recycled garbage at the Mos Eisley Cantina. I don’t see Hillary tossing leftist, progressive policies aside for the greater good of saving the country. Not going to happen.

When you’re talking about Hillary Clinton, Mike Huckabee, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, John Boehner, or Mitch McConnell there are no such redeeming qualities. These guys suck and will continue to suck, regardless of whether or not they run for President in 2016. Had this group been in charge of terminating the Death Star in A New Hope, the Rebels would have been wiped out, and their wouldn’t have been any need for the second Death Star.

And yes, death to Jar Jar Binks.

Hamas uses civilians to protect its weapons

The moral clarity of Israel vs. Hamas. Crystal clear to you and me, very muddy when it comes to the left and the media.

1. During confrontations with Israel, Hamas and the other terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip have adopted various tactics of using civilians as human shields. One of them is encouraging civilians to gather on roofs to prevent operatives and their houses from being attacked by the Israeli Air Force (IAF). Such a tactic is aimed at deterring Israel from attacking and was used by the terrorist organizations in Operation Cast Lead, and now again in Operation Protective Edge (on July 8, 2014).

2. It can be expected that Hamas and the other terrorist organizations will use this and other tactics to encourage Palestinian civilians to protect their terrorist operatives and infrastructures. In ITIC assessment, the use of civilians as human shields is likely to increase as the IDF expands the scope of Operation Protective Edge. The organization’s objectives are to make it difficult for the IDF to operate and to exploit civilian casualties for political, propaganda and legal purposes when it ends. (For examples of the tactic of using civilians as human shields, see Appendix B).

Using civilians as human shields to prevent air strikes:
Attacking a terrorist operative from the Kaware clan – Initial Update

3. On July 8, 2014, during Operation Protective Edge, the IAF attacked the house of Odeh Kaware, a senior Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades Hamas terrorist operative from the Kaware clan in Khan Yunis. After the attack an Egyptian media website reported that eye witnesses told the Turkish news agency Anadolu that the IDF had warned the members of the household of Odeh Kaware, a senior terrorist operative in the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, to vacate the house because it was going to be attacked (, July 9, 2014). According to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz (July 9, 2014), an IDF source had reported that the house was used as an operations room by a company commander in the Hamas brigade in Khan Yunis.

4. The Palestinian media reported that many civilians had gathered around the house and mounted the roof to serve as human shields for the Hamas operative and to prevent the IDF from attacking ( and Watan TV, July 8, 2014). According to the Palestinian media, seven Palestinians were killed in the attack and several others were wounded.

Go to the link to see videos of Hamas “spokesmen” encouraging civilians to be shields for the “cause.”

Shamelessly, the mainstream media refuses to report the beastly behavior of Hamas. Sure, they have no problem reporting the deaths of the innocent in Gaza, but they always leave out who is responsible for those deaths. Jake Tapper of CNN has been one of the few to accurately report the conflict.

Israel has tried to warn the innocent civilians of Gaza to flee their homes, yet Hamas tells them to ignore the warnings. I would imagine in some cases, they strong-arm civilians to stay in a life threatening situation, while others are so brainwashed that they probably willingly become martyr’s for the “cause.”

Unfortunately for the civilians in Gaza, Israel has a moral obligation to protect it’s own citizens first. Rockets raining down onto the civilian population from Gaza is an act of war that can’t be ignored forever by Israel, and now it’s not. The morally bankrupt media loves to portray Israel as the aggressor in this conflict, they’re simply dead wrong.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has filed legislation to prevent the Obama administration from using tax payer dollars to fund expansion of DACA (Deferred Action of Childhood Arrivals). The legislation also addresses Obama’s continually granting amnesty and new work permits to immigrants who arrive illegally.

US Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on 'The Impact of Sequestration on the National Defense'

“We all recognize the terrible humanitarian crisis that is occurring at the border, and all of us should come together to end the policies that have caused it,” said Sen. Cruz. “Tens of thousands of children are being smuggled into the United States by dangerous drug cartels and transnational gangs; it is heartless to allow that to continue.”

He added, “The staggering conditions that children are being subjected to are a direct result of the amnesty that President Obama illegally and unilaterally enacted in 2012, which caused the number of unaccompanied minors to skyrocket. The only way to stop the border crisis is to stop President Obama’s amnesty. If we do not put an end to its expansion – to the promise of amnesty that is the reason so many are coming – then more little boys and girls will be trafficked, abused, and even killed. We have an obligation to make sure that not one more child is hurt by this president’s lawlessness.”

Going forward, Sen. Cruz will urge three legislative reforms to stem the flow of illegal immigration, reunite immigrants who arrived here illegally with family in their home nations, and protect the southern border.

In the legislation, Cruz outlines the explosion of unaccompanied minors who have come to the U.S. under dangerous circumstances since 2012, when Obama implemented DACA.

In 2011, approximately 6,000 unaccompanied minors came to the United States.
In 2012, when President Obama issued DACA, the number of unaccompanied minors arriving in the United States rose to 14,000.
In 2013, the number of unaccompanied minors arriving in the United States rose to 34,000.
In 2014, Customs and Border Protection estimate 90,000 unaccompanied minors may be apprehended.
In 2014, the Obama Administration has stated it expects 145,000 unaccompanied minors to enter the United States.

Cruz plans to introduce further legislation next week that will remove the legal obstacles for deportation that Democrats are currently hiding behind.

The White House released a statement on Malaysian Airlines Flight 17. In a word, lame.

Statement by the Press Secretary on Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 The United States is shocked by the downing of Malaysian Airlines Flight 17, and we offer our deep condolences to all those who lost loved ones on board. We continue to seek information to determine whether there were any American citizens on board.

It is critical that there be a full, credible, and unimpeded international investigation as quickly as possible.

We urge all concerned – Russia, the pro-Russian separatists, and Ukraine – to support an immediate cease-fire in order to ensure safe and unfettered access to the crash site for international investigators and in order to facilitate the recovery of remains. The role of international organizations – such as the United Nations and the OSCE in Ukraine – may be particularly relevant for this effort, and we will be in touch with affected nations and our partners in these organizations in the coming hours and days to determine the best path forward.

In the meantime, it is vital that no evidence be tampered with in any way and that all potential evidence and remains at the crash site are undisturbed. The United States remains prepared to contribute immediate assistance to any international investigation, including through resources provided by the NTSB and the FBI.

While we do not yet have all the facts, we do know that this incident occurred in the context of a crisis in Ukraine that is fueled by Russian support for the separatists, including through arms, materiel, and training. This incident only highlights the urgency with which we continue to urge Russia to immediately take concrete steps to de-escalate the situation in Ukraine and to support a sustainable cease-fire and path toward peace that the Ukrainian government has consistently put forward.

Who could ever forget the famous video of Obama supporter Peggy Joseph, as she worshipfully exclaimed that if she helped Obama, he would help her? She wouldn’t have to worry about paying her mortgage, or buying gas, or anything else for that matter. Heck, most Obama voters thought that if he were elected, they’d wake up the next day living on easy street with a six figure bank account and a vacation home in the Caribbean. Didn’t happen.

Now Peggy Joseph appears in a documentary called “There’s No Place Like Utopia” in which she soundly condemns her previous viewpoint on Obama politics. In it she describes the Obama era as nothing more than a poor Wizard of Oz knockoff.

Remember the viral video from the 2008 presidential election, showing a sycophantic Obama supporter, caught up in the “hope and change” mantra, believing that his election win would put an end to her having to pay her own gas and mortgage bills?

Well, she’s had what you might call a “fundamental transformation.” Meet Peggy Joseph.

“I won’t have to worry about putting gas in my car. I won’t have to worry about paying my mortgage,” a worshipful Ms. Joseph said after attending a 2008 Obama rally at the height of his messianic euphoria stage.

Ms. Joseph told Gilbert, after viewing the 2008 segment together that gave her notoriety, that not only has Obama not been paying her gas or mortgage, but both have gotten progressively harder to pay.

“He had a very big voice, just like the Wizard of Oz,” Joseph said, comparing Obama to the famous phony wizard. “The wizard was this little teeny-teeny tiny man, and I think it’s the same thing with Obama, the man behind the curtain,” Ms. Joseph said in a reflective, disappointing tone.

Ms. Joseph looks back at the time of her 2008 interview, saying, “I was Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. That’s how I feel.”

Peggy Joseph is wide awake now. Six years of unfulfilled expectations is enough, I suppose. Peggy’s not alone, though. There are scores of “Dorothy’s” out there, disappointed in what the “Wizard” didn’t give them. It’s a pretty good analogy if you think about it. Remember the end of the movie? The Wizard got into his balloon to fly Dorothy home and it turned out he couldn’t even fly the thing. He just floated off aimlessly into the sky, to who knows where. Much like Obama’s presidency, an aimlessly floating balloon that has no direction or pilot. Leaving Dorothy to fend for herself. Luckily the good witch came along to tell Dorothy that she had the power within herself the whole time to get home. How about that? The power within ourselves? What a concept.

Marvel Proudly Presents Thor….As A Chick

On July 15, 2014, in Culture, by Tyler Durden

Thor’s a girl now. Yeah, so there’s that.

This October, Marvel Comics evolves once again in one of the most shocking and exciting changes ever to shake one of the “big three” of Captain American, Iron Man and Thor. No longer is the classic Thunder God able to hold the mighty hammer, Mjölnir, and a brand new female hero will emerge worthy of the name THOR.

“The inscription on Thor’s hammer reads ‘Whosoever holds this hammer, if HE be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.’ Well it’s time to update that inscription,” says Marvel editor Wil Moss. “The new Thor continues Marvel’s proud tradition of strong female characters like Captain Marvel, Storm, Black Widow and more. And this new Thor isn’t a temporary female substitute – she’s now the one and only Thor, and she is worthy!”

The PC specialists at Marvel have gone to great pains to make sure that you understand that this new girl Thor isn’t She-Thor like She-Hulk. She’s not even ThorGirl, someone like SpiderGirl to compliment the original. No, she’s actually Thor.

THOR is the latest in the ever-growing and long list of female-centric titles that continues to invite new readers into the Marvel Universe. THOR will be the 8th title to feature a lead female protagonist and aims to speak directly to an audience that long was not the target for super hero comic books in America: women and girls.

There’s kind of a reason for that. Girls don’t generally like superheroes or comics. Generally speaking (which I presume we’re not allowed to do anymore), all boys like superheroes and comic books. It’s not a gamble if you’re a comic company to place all your money on the fact that most of your sales will come from males.

Once again, generally speaking, girls could care less about superheroes and comic books. Certainly there are rules to the exception, but we’re speaking in general terms here. What Marvel has done with this lame brained stunt, is alienated their core market, and made it impossible to generalize who comics would be sold to.

Here’s a hint for Marvel. Girls liked Thor the way he was. I haven’t met a woman yet who doesn’t name Thor as their favorite Marvel movie. Sure, it’s got everything to do with Chris Hemsworth, but still, it’s true. You think women are going to be lining up at the box office to go see Charlize Theron or Angelina Jolie play Thor? Not so much.

It’s just another example of a politically correct culture run amok.

Mistake, Marvel. Big Mistake.

The Atlantic: What, Exactly, Is Hamas Trying to Prove?

On July 13, 2014, in Israel, by Tyler Durden

When I saw this article posted at The Atlantic about the intentions of Hamas and truth behind the current conflict in Gaza, I had to check twice to make sure it was actually The Atlantic I was reading.

Mahmoud Abbas, the sometimes moderate, often ineffectual leader of the Palestinian Authority, just asked his rivals in Hamas a question that other bewildered people are also asking: “What are you trying to achieve by sending rockets?”

The Gaza-based Hamas has recently fired more than 500 rockets at Israeli towns and cities. This has terrorized the citizenry, though caused few casualties, in large part because Israel is protected by the Iron Dome anti-rocket system.

In reaction to these indiscriminately fired missiles, Israel has bombarded targets across Gaza. Compared with violent death rates in other parts of the Middle East, the number of dead in Gaza is small. (More than 170,000 people have been killed in the Syrian civil war to date.) But it is large enough to suggest an answer to Abbas’s question: Hamas is trying to get Israel to kill as many Palestinians as possible.

Dead Palestinians represent a crucial propaganda victory for the nihilists of Hamas. It is perverse, but true. It is also the best possible explanation for Hamas’s behavior, because Hamas has no other plausible strategic goal here.

Further down in the article:

The Israeli military has the operational capability to level the entire Gaza Strip in a day, if it so chooses. It is constrained by international pressure, by its own morality, and by the understanding that the deaths of innocent Palestinians are not in its best political interest. The men who run Hamas—the ones hiding in bunkers deep underground, the ones who send other people’s children to their deaths as suicide bombers—also understand that their current campaign will not bring the end of Israel’s legitimacy as a state.

Still more shock:

There is no doubt that Hamas could protect Palestinian lives by ceasing its current campaign to end Israeli lives. The decision is Hamas’s. As the secretary-general of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, said earlier this week, “We face the risk of an all-out escalation in Israel and Gaza, with the threat of a ground offensive still palpable—and preventable only if Hamas stops rocket firing.”

The decision to end this war is Hamas’s. It always has been. Whether they ever see it that way, is another story altogether. My guess is they never will. They’re hellbent on the eradication of the Jewish state of Israel, by any and all means necessary. Including the inadvertent eradication of the Palestinian people. Ironically, what will keep the Palestinians from being eradicated is the moral superiority of the people who would be doing the eradication, Israel. If the tables were turned, Israel would have been decimated decades ago, and no one would have lifted a finger to stop it, except for the United States pre-Obama.

Certainly one article in The Atlantic, and their observation that fewer are decrying Israel’s use of force to defend their homeland (which is debatable), doesn’t mean that there has been a major cultural shift on this issue. The Palestinians are still portrayed as the victims, while Israel is seen as the colonialist, military power, occupying Gaza and wreaking havoc on innocent lives.

The one thing Israel has on it’s side (besides the IDF) is the truth. The truth can be suppressed, as it has been for so many years in this conflict, but it has a way of working it’s way to the top, making itself known in such a clear way that even strong detractors of Israel will be unable to refute it. Perhaps a glimmer of hope for all of us seeking to make the truth known, in every instance of suppression, here and abroad.

Considering that this is the Obama Department of Justice run by Eric Holder, you can look at this as unbelievable or completely predictable. Make no mistake, this is just the beginning of what will no doubt become a full scale investigation into how this float depicting a terrible presidency, was racially insensitive with a subsequent crackdown on future event participation by the group that made it.

The U.S. Department of Justice has joined the discussions over a controversial float in the Norfolk Independence Day parade.

The department sent a member of its Community Relations Service team, which gets involved in discrimination disputes, to a Thursday meeting about the issue. Also at the meeting were the NAACP, the Norfolk mayor and The Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

The Odd Fellows organized the parade. One of the floats included a zombie-like mannequin standing near an outhouse labeled “Obama Presidential Library.”

I wrote a whole post on the original story which you can read here. Here’s an excerpt:

The cry of racism is purely reactionary on Kathurima’s part. It’s reactionary on the part of most who disagree with those who criticize Obama. Unfortunately, I believe that people of color are being programmed to react this way. Everything is racist if they disagree with it. No criticism of this president is allowed, and if you do disagree with him, you must be racist. Heck, I’m sure that what I just said, will be construed as racist.

It’s a shame, because how else will we ever be able to get to the heart of a matter? If every debate about this policy or that, begins and ends with a charge of racism, then truly getting to the truth of issues and political differences becomes impossible. And I guess that’s kind of the point, where Obama’s concerned.

The true intentions of constructing and then showing the float doesn’t matter, in Obama’s America. What matters is that someone (who happened to be a minority), one of Holder’s people as he says, was offended; so off to the rescue is the corrupt DOJ. A Crackdown on any and all forms of disagreement with the messiah president has been their first response since the beginning. We really shouldn’t be surprised that this harmless parade float has raised the ire of Obama’s Department of Justice.

We may be in trouble. It’s quite possible that our society has finally reached the point of no return. On the Apple APP store, Kim Kardashian’s video game in which players learn from Kim how to become an A-list celebrity, may be the game of the year. We’re seriously sailing in uncharted waters with this one.

Kim Kardashian, the reality-TV star whose empire has expanded to include clothing, jewelry and cosmetics, now has a video game, and it’s a hit.

Since its June 25 release, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood has risen as high as second among most-downloaded free-to-play games at Apple Inc. (AAPL)’s U.S. App Store, and the well-reviewed title yesterday was third. Its success has driven shares of creator Glu Mobile Inc. (GLUU) up 42 percent.

“It might be our biggest game of the year,” Chief

“It might be our biggest game of the year,” Chief Executive Officer Niccolo de Masi said in an interview. “We’re not surprised. Kim is a one-of-a-kind talent with an incredibly precise fit to the game engine that we tailored but already had in the company.”

Kim is a one-of-a-kind talent? I suppose that’s true except for the fact that she has a wagon load of sisters that do whatever the hell it is she does, and with about the same efficiency. Not to mention her attention seeking mother who seems to promote the girls in their endeavors and then apparently gets jealous when they receive the attention that she was promoting. I’m not exactly sure what it is that Kim Kardashian has done to become such a force on our pop culture. But she is one.

There was the obligatory sex tape with an aspiring rapper. Ray-J, I believe his name was. There was the much publicized relationship with NFL star Reggie Bush, but that didn’t work out. Maybe Reggie saw the writing on the wall. There was the marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries. Many thought that it was staged just for the reality show that has thrust her family into our collective psyche. Maybe Kris saw the writing on the wall too. Their marriage only lasted 72 days. Then Kim Married the one guy who Barack Obama was publicly caught calling a jackass. A perfect fit. She did manage to have a child with West. Oh, and somewhere in there, she posed for Playboy Magazine, at the urging of her overbearing mother.

Her sisters at least run a faux clothing store business. I say faux, because who really knows if it’s a real business or just something the creators of their show came up with. Anyway, I’m sure they make real money, either way. Good news! The Kardashian clan is bringing up another one, younger sister Kendall Jenner, to follow in the footsteps of Kim, doing whatever in the hell it is that Kim does.

Then there’s Bruce Jenner. Well, I won’t even go there. So, given all of that, I have no idea why Kim Kardashian’s video game is as popular as it is.

Don’t forget, Kim’s married to the one guy that Barack Obama was publicly caught calling a jackass. That’s something, I guess.
